DANCING RECALL FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS

Evidence from world wide research suggests that music and dance have a special role to play in improving the lives of those effected by dementia from it's onset right through to the later stages.

The dancing Recall programme includes all the key components of conventional exercise programmes and also harnesses the unique application of music and dance, fostering a greater control and ease of movement through a rich variety of musical, sensory and verbal cues.
  • Clinically reasoned.
  • Adaptable for different stages of dementia.
  • Person centred healthcare integrating arts and science.
  • In line with the latest NICE guidelines and the National Dementia Strategy.
  • Stimulates the retrieval of memories.
  • Develops concentration.
  • Encourages people to respond to their immediate environment.
  • Exercises mind, memory, voice and body.
